Maybe it matters, but most of the Michelin stars restaurants I've been in NY or San Francisco didn't worth even one star. Like Del Posto (two stars) in NY, or Aqua (two stars)in San Francisco. Aqua was not even good by ordinary restaurants standards.

Adrian -

Is it worthwhile visiting Paris between Christmas and New Year's? I've heard that much of the city is closed during that week.

Incidentally, the Michelin star "system" is just as arbitrary and misleading as Zagat's 30-point scale.

Thanks -

That's what I expected. I think they should differentiate between American three-star and European three star.
